ABOUT ME

Born to a pair of lovely couple on 22nd March, 2006, i was named Chloe by May and Yiyin by Desmond. May is my Mum. She is an educator by profession, a dedicated teacher i must say. She is very passionate about Biology and Life Sciences. I've been hearing so much about Bio when i'm in her womb! Anyway, May's life seems very enriched. Busy with coming out with teaching pedegogies (another thing i've been hearing when i'm in her womb) and of course me! :> Hope she can put aside sometime for herself...she's getting unglam and haggard!!! Desmond, you should have guessed it by now....that's right, his sperm is the one that it responsible for part of my existance. Solider...defend the country...that's his job! Family oriented guy...he's always sandwiched between May and his family!? But he's doing a good job!

CHLOE'S BODY PART

Integrating finger training, Art and language at 20 mths 1 week and 3 days old. May tells you how i did it.....

May spoke:

I got her to lie face up on a long piece of paper. Next, using a crayon, i trace the outline of her body. Its amusing watching her lying down, and the eagerness in her eyes, wondering what i am doing with that crayon going around her body.

When is done, i helped her up and she was excited to see her body in life size drawn on paper.

ART
She chose the colour of crayons and I then guided her to draw in the facial feature and hair.

She chose the poster colour for her hand print and footprint. I helped her paint the colour on her palm and soles. Next, i guided her to do the prints on the papers.

Finger Training
This refers to the stickers used to represent the fingernails. She got to chose the stickers and practice peeling them off the sticker book and pasting it at the tip of the fingers of the hand prints.

Language
This refers to the labellings given to different body parts. We did it 2 ways:
a) I asked her where is a particular body part, she pointed it on the paper and i held her hands and label it.

b) I pointed to a specific body part on the paper and asked her what it us. I held her hands and label it.

And finally, for the finishing touch, I held her hand and wrote: My Body Parts".
